PAK-Afghan Border Fencing Has Cut Down Terrorism, COAS Gen Bajwa:
PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa paid a visit to Miranshah on Friday and interacted with the tribal elders and leaders from South and North Waziristan Districts, a press release of ISPR said on Friday.
While interacting with the tribal elders from both the South and North Waziristan districts, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa categorically made it clear that fencing along PAKISTAN-Afghanistan border has drastically reduced the terrorist incident in the country.
The Corps Commander of Peshawar Lt. General Shaheen Mazhar was also present during the occasion.

PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa said, “However, enduring peace inside PAKISTAN is linked to peace in Afghanistan for which Pakistan is playing its role.”
COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa said on the occasion that Afghanistan is a brotherly country and we wish eternal peace in Afghanistan as per the wishes and aspirations of the Afghani people.
During the meeting with the Mashran (Tribal Elders), CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa urged the Mashrans (Tribal Elders) to continue their role in guiding the youth.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa said the PAKISTAN ARMY wants peaceful and progressive PAKISTAN and a number of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES officers and Personnels have embraced martyrdom during the fencing of PAK-Afghan border.
COAS General Bajwa said on the occasion that Wisdom of Elders and Combination of Experience with zeal, talent, energy of youth is the Key of success for our young and energetic youth.
COAS further said PAKISTAN can easily defeat the terrorism with the mutual cooperation of the Citizens.

The Mushrans (Tribal Elders) gives complete assurance to the COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa that they shall continue to fully support the policies of Security Forces in maintaining peace and stability in the area.
Furthermore, the Tribal Elders (Mushrans) urged the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa tp complete the fending project as soon as possible and Mushrans also gave the suggestions of few more projects to COAS.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa said We shall complete all the pending projects in the minimal possible time frame, which will complete endurance peace, prosperity and stability in the area.
