PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa Witnesses The Victory Shield Exercise In Sialkot:
PAK ARMY CHIEF, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnessed the Victory Shield Exercise performed by the Gujranwala Corps Troops in Chanoki Sector Near Chawinda, Sialkot on Friday, December 10, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Chanoki Sector, Near Chawinda, Sialkot and witnessed the PAKISTAN ARMY Exercise Victory Shield.
Upon arrival at the Chanoki Sector, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was thoroughly briefed on the planning parameters, objectives and conduct of different modalities of the Victory Shield Exercise.
The main aim of the Victory Shield Exercise is to enhance the combat preparedness and operational readiness of the formation, encompassing the offensive and defensive tasks in response to any misadventure posed by the adversary, including india.
“COAS was briefed on objectives, planning parameters and conduct modalities of the exercise which is aimed at enhancing operational preparedness of formation, encompassing defensive and offensive tasks in response to any misadventure by the adversary,” DG ISPR said.
While witnessing the PAKISTAN ARMY Victory Shield Exercise, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed complete satisfaction over the professional competence and highest training standards of the troops, engaged in the exercise.
“COAS expressed satisfaction over training standards and professional competence of the troops,” DG ISPR added.
While addressing the participants, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa stressed the need fort strenuous, rigorous and realistic training in the field.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that the such exercises help to strengthen, enhance and optimize the interoperability, cohesiveness, synergy and confidence in the troops involved in the exercise.
“Addressing the participating troops, COAS stressed upon realistic and strenuous training in the field. Such exercises help bolster troops’ confidence, enhance cohesiveness / synergy and optimize their combat potential, COAS remarked,” DG ISPR continued.
Earlier upon arrival, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Commander Gujranwala Corps Lieutenant General Muhammad Ammer.
