PAKISTAN ARMY To Participate In One Of The Largest Multinational Joint Military Exercise In TURKEY’s History EFES-2022:
PAKISTAN ARMY participates in 37 Countries Multinational Military Exercise EFES-2022 that is being conducted in TURKEY from 31st May – 9 June, 2022 at Doğanbey in the district of Izmir.
PAKISTAN is also participating in One of the largest Military Exercise in the TURKEY’s History, along with its Iron Brother AZERBAIJAN.
A contingent from the PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE and PAKISTAN NAVY has reached TURKEY in order to participate in the EFES-2022 Exercise.
The EFES-2022 is one of the most extensive and the largest planned Military Exercise being conducted under in TURKEY under the umbrella of TURKISH Armed Forces (TAF).
The first phase of the TURKEY’s EFES-2022 Military Exercise would be completed with the use of Live Fire Phase and Computer Aided Command Post Exercise.
More than 1000 military personnel from 37 Friendly and Allied Countries of TURKEY, including PAKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN, are participating in the EFES-2022 Military Exercise.
It is expected that a total of 10,000 Military Personnel would participate in the EFES-2022 Military Exercise, which is the largest Joint Military Exercise in the region in decades.
The 2022 Edition of the EFES-2022 Multinational Military Exercise with feature the wide array of combat armed vehicles, UAVs and Tanks, including integrated aviation landing vehicles, amphibious landing vehicles, light armored reconnaissance, bilateral artillery and live fire training with generic scenario.
Some countries that are participating in the exercise are PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKEY, PAKISTAN Iron Brother AZERBAIJAN, PAKISTAN, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, Albania and Italy.
During the exercise, the designated targets would be hit by the Armed Combat UAV, Fighter Jets, Attack Choppers and Ground Fire Support Vehicles.

The Special Operation Forces of the various participating countries, including PAKISTAN, will also demonstrate different tactics, including Combat in the residential area, ship-to-target manoeuvring, Combat Search and Rescue and Airlift of personnel in battlefield.
Defense Ministers, Military Commanders of more than 20 countries are expected to witness the different activities of the EFES-2022 Military Exercise.
