PAKISTAN Egypt Maiden two weeks long Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 Kicks Off at Cairo in Egypt on Saturday, May 29, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Ifitikhar said in an official statement.
Director General Joint Staff Headquarter (DG JSHQ) Lieutenant General Muhammad Chirag Haider represented the PAKISTANI Side, whereas the Egyptian Chief of Air Defense Major General Mohamed Hagezy Abdel Mawgood represented Egypt along with other senior officials.

According to the details, released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR, the first ever Two Weeks long Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 between PAKISTAN and Egypt aimed to further boost the military to military cooperation between the two Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Egypt.
ISPR said that the exercise will significantly enhance the interoperability and bilateral military cooperation between the Armed Forces of both the Brotherly Countries.

The Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 will help the both countries to successfully cope up the challenges and emerging threat in the domain of the Air Defense in the modern hybrid warfare environment.
“The exercise will focus on greater integration, interoperationability, synergy, information gathering, decision making of air defense tentacles to generate a comprehensive response against multiple hostile air threats in battle,” the communiqué read.

PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head said that the participating troops from both Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Egypt, will involve in several procedures and techniques to meet the challenges of the future conventional and hybrid battlefield environment.

PAKISTAN Egypt Maiden Bilateral Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 will significantly help to further increase and enhance the Military Collaboration and Cooperation between the Two Countries to successfully cope up the challenges of the modern complex hybrid warfare environment.
