Qatar Deputy Prime Minister Held Important Meeting With COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the state of Qatar, His Excellency, Mr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held One on One important meeting with PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Friday, September 10, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Qatar Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister His Excellency, Mr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani visits General Headquarters (GHQ) and held an important meeting with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss matters of mutual and professional interest, including the recent regional security situation.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the current situation in Afghanistan after the historic defeat and withdrawal of US and allied forces after 20 years from Afghanistan, which is commonly known as the Graveyard of Empires.
During the meeting, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated shared resolve and commitment to extending large scale humanitarian assistance for the Afghan Brethren.
“COAS reiterated shared resolve of extending humanitarian assistance for Afghans. COAS said that PAKISTAN remains committed to working with its international partners for peace in the region and ensuring a stable and prosperous future for people of Afghanistan,” DG ISPR said.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that PAKISTAN remains fully committed to work with its partners of peace and prosperity in the region and to ensure and prosperous and stable future for the people of Afghanistan.
On the occasion, the visiting dignitary, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the state of Qatar, His Excellency, Mr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, highly appreciated the sincere and unbiased role of PAKISTAN in the successful evacuation of foreign citizens and diplomats from Afghanistan.
“The visiting dignitary appreciated PAKISTAN’s role in successful evacuation operations from Afghanistan, efforts for regional stability and pledged to play their role for further improvement in diplomatic cooperation with PAKISTAN at all levels,” DG ISPR added.
The visiting dignitary also lauded the efforts of PAKISTAN for regional stability and pledged to further improve the Strategic Ties between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Qatar.
