Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest DEFENSE Expo IDEAS 2022 Kicks Off In Karachi With The Participation Of 500 International Defense Companies And 264 Delegates From 64 Countries:
Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s biggest DEFENSE Expo IDEAS 2022 kicks off in Karachi with the Participation of 500 International Defense Companies and 264 Delegates from 64 Countries on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar said in an Official Statement.
IDEAS is the Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest Defense exhibition that is held biennially. It is a venture of the Ministry of Defense Production, supported by the PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES, organized by the Defense Export Promotion Organization, and endorsed by the Trade Development Authority of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
During the IDEAS 2022 Defense Expo, more than 500 International Defense Manufacturers, 264 delegates from 64 different countries are showing their Defense products in the 4 days Defense Exhibition IDEAS 2022 from Nov 15 – 18, 2022.
PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA is also participating the Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest DEFENSE Expo with the participation of different CHINESE DEFENSE Giants.
The Head of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s DEFENSE Exports, Major General Mohammad Arif Malik has said that besides Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Iron Brother TURKIYE and CHINA, major Defense Companies from other countries, such as European Union, UK, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and the USA are also participating the IDEAS 2022 DEFENSE Exhibition.
PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA is participating in the IDEAS 2022 Defense Exhibition with different CHINESE Defense Giants. PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA is heavily involved in different Defense Ventures with Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
PAKISTAN NAVY also signed a contract with its Iron Brother CHINA for the construction of 4 numbers of Highly Advanced and Hi-Tech Type 054 A/P Stealth Warships.
More than 22 Defense Giants of PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE also taking part in the IDEAS 2022 Exhibition in Karachi.
PAKISTAN Iron Brother Country TURKIYE is leading the IDEAS 2022 Defense Exhibition with the participation of 22 different Defense Giants.
PAKISTAN Iron Brother Country TURKIYE’s leading Defense Giants STM and ASFAT are also showcasing their Defense Products during the IDEAS 2022 DEFENSE Expo.
Both Defense Giants of PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE are showcasing their Hi-Tech Military Hardware, including Combat Drones, Surveillance Drones, mini-UAV, Cyber Security Solutions and Submarine models.
The STM-Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.S. has naval platforms and tactical mini-UAV systems for the exhibition, according to Özgür Güleryüz, the company’s general manager.
The TURKISH DEFENSE Giant STM is also heavily involved in modernizing the PAKISTAN NAVAL COMBAT Fleet, including the upgradation of PAKISTAN NAVY critical NAVAL Platforms, including the Electronic Warfare, Counter-Electronic Warfare, Cyber Security Systems and Cyber Warfare.
During the IDEAS 2022, the TURKISH DEFEFNSE Giant STM will showcase its Istif (I)-Class Frigate, its PAKISTAN NAVY Fleet Tanker (PNFT) and STM500 Submarine, its Small-sized submarine designed by utilizing the National Resources.
The company, which produces leading and competitive platforms in the Tactical mini-UAV system market segment, will also be introducing KARGU, TURKIYE’s first mini-attack UAV; the TOGAN surveillance UAV system; and the ALPAGU fixed-wing attack UAV system, to the South Asian market.
“With its indigenous engineering solutions, STM is engaged in collaborative projects, technology transfer, and business development activities in more than 20 countries, from South America to the Far East,” Güleryüz said in a statement.
“While equipping the TURKISH NAVY and TURKISH SECURITY FORCES with innovative and national systems, we share our experience and engineering capability with friendly and allied nations,” he continued.
In addition, we are continuing with the modernization of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Agosta-Class 90B submarines,” Güleryüz said, adding the company has already delivered the first submarine under the said project, while the modernization of two remaining submarines is continuing.
PAKISTAN NAVY has also signed the contract with PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE for the construction of 4 numbers of TURKISH Hi-Tech and State of the Art MILGEM Ada Class Stealth Warships for PAKISTAN NAVY.
Under the signed agreement, 2 of the Hi-Tech MILGEM Stealth Warships would be constructed in TURKIYE, while the other Stealth Warships would be constructed in Sacred Country PAKISTAN under the Transfer of Technology (ToT) agreement.
To commemorate this year’s defense exhibition, the Ministry of Sacred Country PAKISTAN Postal Services has also issued a commemorative postal stamp of Rs20. Earlier, the significant event was postponed amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
There will be an international seminar on ‘Artificial Intelligence in the Defense Market; A Paradigm Shift in Military Strategy and National Security’, Following the Grand Inauguration Ceremony of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest Defense Expo IDEAS 2022.
IDEAS 2020 was not held due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The previous IDEAS DEFENSE Exhibition was held in 2018. 45 countries participated in IDEAS 2018 with their different DEFENSE products.
