11th Edition of the PAKISTAN NAVY and Royal Navy of Oman Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 successfully culminates in Gulf of Oman at the North Arabian Sea on Sunday, Dec 24 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 between PAKISTAN NAVY and Royal Navy of Oman conducted in the North Arabian Sea.

Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 between PAK NAVY and Royal Navy of Oman successfully conducted in the Gulf of Oman.

This was 11th edition of the series of Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 exercises being conducted between PAKISTAN NAVY and Royal Navy of Oman since 2002.

For the Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023, the PAK NAVY Flotilla comprised of PAK NAVY Stealth Warship PNS ASLAT with Embarked ASW Warfare Helicopter, Fast Attack Missile Craft PNS QUWWAT and PAK NAVY Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft (LRMPA) along with the participation of the Special Operations Forces.

Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 provided an avenue to enhance mutual learning, improve inter-operability and opportunity for both NAVAL FORCES of Both the Iron Brother ISLAMIC Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and ISLAMIC Brotherly Country Oman, to further hone their professionalism.

The Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 between PAK NAVY and Royal Navy of Oman was conducted in two phases. Harbour phase included operational and tactical level table top discussions and exercise planning conferences.

The 11th Edition of the Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 also involved Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) by Stealth Warships of both NAVAL FORCES with an aim to curb illicit activities at sea.

Both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and ISLAMIC Brotherly Country Oman, share a common maritime area and both the NAVIES closely cooperate with each other to maintain good order at sea.

During the Sea Phase of the exercise, the NAVAL FORCES of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and ISLAMIC Brotherly Country Oman, conducted range of advanced operational exercises encompassing major facets of maritime operations related to Anti-Air, Anti-Surface Warfare and Counter Terrorism exercises in the Maritime domain.

Regular conduct of Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2023 is a clear manifestation of strong fraternal and brotherly relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and ISLAMIC Brotherly Country Oman, in general and PAK NAVY and Royal Navy of Oman in particular.
