Ambassador of Brotherly Country TURKEY His Excellency Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul calls on CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi at NAVAL Headquarter, Islamabad on Monday 2nd November, 2020, PAKISTAN NAVY DGPR Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement via famous microblogging account.
“Ambassador of TURKEY H.E Mr Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul called on CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at NHQ. The Ambassador congratulated CNS on assuming command of PN. Matters of mutual interest & bilateral cooperation were discussed. CNS also expressed grief over losses in earthquake,” DGPR Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement.
The Director General Public Relations of PAKISTAN NAVY issued statement that both the dignitaries discussed matters of recent regional security, bilateral cooperation and mutual interest.
During the meeting, the Brotherly TURKISH Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul congratulated the newly appointed CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi on assuming the command of PAKISTAN NAVY.
On the occasion, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in TURKEY in the Natural Calamity of Earthquake, which struck TURKEY’s Izmir City.
On the occasion, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The visiting TURKISH Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul highly lauded and appreciated the excellent Brotherly, Friendly Relations and Strategic Cooperation between the Two Iron Brother Countries, TURKEY and PAKISTAN.
It is pertinent to mention that Dozens of TURKISH Brothers embraced Martyrdom when an earthquake of magnitude 7.0 hit the parts of TURKEY and Greece on Friday.
It is important to mention that TURKEY is a very close Brotherly Country of PAKISTAN and both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY, shares rich historic ties.
PAKISTAN’s Iron Brother TURKEY is also providing critical assistance to PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES and helping to achieve their goal of self reliance and indigenization.

Until recently, PAKISTAN NAVY also laid down the Keel of MILGEM Ada Class Warship, which is being constructed at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) with the technical assistance of TURKEY’s State owned Shipbuilder Giant ASFAT (Askeri Fabrika ve Tersane İşletme, Military Factory and Shipyard Management).
PAKISTAN NAVY has signed the Contract for the procurement of 4 numbers of MILGEM Class Battleships with its Iron Brother TURKEY. Under the contract, 2 of the MILGEM Warship would be constructed in TURKEY, while the remaining 2 would be built in PAKISTAN under the Transfer Of Technology (TOT) Agreement.
