COAS General Asim Munir Addresses The Commissioning Parade of 118th Midshipmen and 26th Short Service Commission At PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy In Karachi:

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir addresses the Commissioning Parade of 118th Midshipmen and 26th Short Service Commission held at PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy in Karachi on Saturday, December 31, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, the Commissioning Parade of 118th Midshipmen and 26th Short Service Commission held at PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy and PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir graced the Commissioning ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Upon arrival at the PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy, the COAS General Asim Munir was warmly Welcomed, Greeted and Received by the PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

While addressing the participants of the Parade, the COAS General Asim Muni highly congratulated the commissioning term for successful completion of training and becoming guardians of maritime frontiers of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

COAS General Asim Munir highly appreciated PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy for imparting quality education not only to PAKISTANI cadets but to the cadets of friendly countries.

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir said that maritime domain is continuously shifting, mainly due to technological advancement, herein only those navies would prevail and prove effective that would align with professionalism and modern trends of modern warfare.

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir advised young officers as future leaders to lead by their conduct, character, professional acumen and foresight.

COAS General Asim Munir stated that PAKISTAN is passing through one of her most critical junctures and this requires development of national consensus by all stakeholders to sail through the confronted challenges of economy and terrorism.

Later, the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir distributed the Awards amongst the best distinction holders in their respective courses.

Lieutenant Kashmir Abdul Quyyom of PAKISTAN NAVY wins the Prestigious and Coveted QUAID-E-AZAM Gold Medal for showing Overall Best Performance in the course.

Midshipman Naufil Malik was awarded the coveted Sword of Honor for his overall best performance during the course.

Later, the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir visited the Malir Garrison during his Official visit to Karachi.

During the visit, the COAS General Asim Munir laid floral wreath at the Martyr’s Monument and paid Rich and Glorious Tribute to the Martyrs of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, who gave their lives in order to Protect the Glory and Honor of ISLAM and their Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

During the visit to Malir Garrison, the COAS General Asim Munir addressed the Officers and Troops of Karachi Corps, Rangers and other Forces at Malir Garrison.

COAS underscored the need for focus on profession and demands of modern hybrid warfare and directed information operations during his visit to Malir Garrison.

Earlier on arrival, the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir was warmly Greeted, Welcomed and Received by the Corps Commander Karachi Corps Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar.
