Keel laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Final and Fourth MILGEM Class Stealth Warship held in a graceful and prestigious ceremony at the PAKISTAN’s State Owned Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW), Karachi on Friday, November 5, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details, Keel laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY final and 4th MILGEM Class Stealth Warship held at the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW).

PAK NAVAL CHIEF, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the keel laying ceremony as the Chief Guest.

While addressing the participants, Chief Guest of the Ceremony, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that it is a matter of Pride for me to witness the Keel Laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s 4th MILGEM Class Stealth Warship that is constructed between the joint collaboration of KS&EW and M/S ASFAT of TURKEY.

CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that the construction of another Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY could be seen as another testimony for the evergreen Brotherhood of Iron Brothers, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.

“The Admiral highlighted that it is a historic occasion as Ministry of Defense Production, PAKISTAN NAVY, Karachi Shipyard and M/s ASFAT of TURKEY have joined hands for construction of two Corvettes in PAKISTAN while another two are under construction at TURKEY,” DGPR said.

CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi added that it is a historic occasion in the Bilateral Defense and Security Ties of both the Iron Brother Countries, TURKEY and PAKISTAN, which have joined hands for the construction of the lethal and state of the art Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY.

On the occasion, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highly appreciated and lauded the performance of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) that is acting as the forefront in pursuing the policy of indigenization and self-sufficiency of PAKISTAN in Defense Sector.

While speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (MD KS&EW) Rear Admiral Ather Saleem highlighted the construction of another Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY and said that KS&EW is fully aligned and cognizant with the goals of PAKISTAN NVY for self-reliance and indigenization in the Defense and Shipbuilding industry.

“He emphasized that deep rooted friendship with brotherly country TURKEY for this mega project will open new vistas of further cooperation in the field of indigenous warship construction and other defense sectors in PAKISTAN,” DGPR NAVY added.

MD KS&EW Rear Admiral Ather Saleem added that the Brotherhood of Iron Brothers, TURKEY and PAKISTAN, is deep rooted and expanded for decades. He said that the construction of the state of the art, advanced and lethal Stealth Warship will open the gates to further boost the Bilateral Defense and Security Cooperation between both the Iron Brothers Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.

Details of PAKISTAN NAVY MILGEM Class Stealth Warship:

The MILGEM Class Stealth Warshisp are amongst one of the best, advanced and lethal surface combatant in the Combatant Fleet of PAKISTAN NAVY.

The MILGEM Class Stealth Warships would be armed to the teeth with the latest and hi-tech Weaponry, including the Surface to Surface, Surface to Air and Anti-Submarine Warfare weaponry and missiles.

These state of the art and hi-tech Stealth Warships are constructed as per the modern Naval Standards and they will be equipped with the State of the Art Weaponry and Sensors.

The addition of these advanced and lethal surface combatants in PAKISTAN NAVY combatant fleet will significantly help to boost the Kinetic and Full Offensive Capability of PAKISTAN against india, who is the enemy number one for both Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and CHINA.

The keel laying ceremony was attended by the high ranking officials and representatives of M/S ASFAT, PAKISTAN NAVY and Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW), amongst others.
