More Blessings to the Great PAKISTANI NATION as the Launching ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY 4th Heavily Armed, Lethal and Hi-Tech Stealth Warship PNS YAMAMA OPV-II held at DAMEN Shipyards Galati in Romania on Wednesday, February 21 2024, PAK NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.

PAK NAVY Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami graced the Occasion as the Chief Guest of the Launching ceremony of PAK NAVY’s 4th Heavily Armed and Lethal Stealth Warship PNS YAMAMA OPV-II at DAMEN Shipyards Galati in Romania.

While Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony, PAK NAVY Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, underscored the importance of maritime security under the prevailing conventional and non-conventional maritime threats to energy and trade highways passing through indian Ocean Region (iOR).

In this context, PAK NAVY Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami highlighted that PAKISTAN NAVY has tremendous contribution in maintenance of safe and secure sea environment for maritime trade.

PAK NAVY Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami expressed his confidence that induction of these multipurpose and highly adaptive platforms; equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and sensors will further strengthen combat capability of PAK NAVY Combat Fleet in safeguarding Sacred maritime frontiers of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, while ensuring Maritime Security in the indian Ocean Region (iOR), especially in the Arabian Sea.

Earlier during his welcome address, Chief Operations Officer of M/s DAMEN Group Netherlands highlighted that DAMEN Shipyard and PAKISTAN NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, are enjoying historic relations since 1986.

Chief Operations Officer of M/s DAMEN Group Netherlands highlighted that M/s DAMEN would continue to Deliver cost effective, technologically advanced and potent ships to PAKISTAN NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, to meet their Operational and Offensive requirements against World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist country india.

During the ceremony, Begum Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, Begum Shehla Aftab Khan had the honor to launch state of the art PNS YAMAMA. The launching ceremony was attended by high ranking officials from Romanian Government and Navy, PAKISTAN NAVY, M/s DAMEN and notables from PAKISTAN community in Romania.
