PAKISTAN MARITIME SECURITY AGENCY Successfully Rescues CHINESE Seafarer Zuo Xiang Wei After He Accidentally Falls Off From A CHINESE Merchant Ship Near Karachi Coast:

PAKISTAN MARITIME SECURITY AGENCY (PMSA) has successfully rescued the CHINESE seafarer namely Zuo Xiang Wei after he accidentally falls off from a CHINESE Merchant vessel near the Karachi Coast on Thursday, August 11, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details, a CHINESE Seafarer named Zuo Xiang Wei was accidentally falling off from the CHINESE Merchant vessel near Karachi coast.

The CHINESE seafarer Zuo Xiang Wei was sighted by the local fisherman swimming near the Phitti Creak. The local fisher launch AL MADINA was out for a hunt, when they suddenly found the CHINESE fisherman swimming near Bundal Island.

The launch Captain Abdullah immediately directed the AL MADINA Launch towards the CHINESE National and hauled him aboard the vessel.

After that, the AL MADINA Launch Captain Abdullah immediately sent a distress call to the PMSA Base Sadaqat, which responded and reach in time.

At the PMSA HQ, the CHINESE Seafarer was undergone a detailed medical checkup for any health issues.

As per the sources of the PAKISTAN MARITIME SECURITY AGENCY (PMSA), the CHINESE seafarer Zuo Xiang Wei was safely recovered in collaboration with the PMSA and local fishermen and then he was immediately taken to the PMSA HQ for medical checkup.

It was later confirmed that the CHINESE Seafarer Zuo Xiang Wei had fallen off a CHINESE merchant vessel identified as Zing Shang Hai (IMO) 9307231) of the Cosco Shipping on August 10, 2022 near Karachi Coast.

The coordinated and timely efforts of the PAKISTAN MARITIME SECURITY AGENCY (PMSA) and local fishermen ensured the timely rescue of CHINESE National, which was highly appreciated by the Consul General of CHINA in Karachi.

The timely and effective response of the PAKISTAN MARITIME SECURITY AGENCY (PMSA) is a clear testimony of the strong unshakable resolve, commitment and dedication of PMSA that it remains committed to the safety of lives at sea round the clock and regardless of adverse weather conditions.
