Commander of Iraqi Navy Lieutenant General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid, who is on an Official visit to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, held One on One high-profile and important meeting with CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at AIR HQ Islamabad on Thursday, August 11, 2022, PAKISTAN N NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said in an official statement.
According to the details, Commander of Iraqi Navy Lieutenant General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid visits AIR HQ Islamabad and held an important meeting with the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at AIR HQ Islamabad.
During the meeting, the Commanders of the both Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Iraq, discussed various matters pertaining to ‘Professional and Mutual Interest’, including the recent regional security situation.
While appreciating the professionalism of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, the Commander of Iraqi Navy Lieutenant General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid acknowledged the rising indigenous capacity in the aviation industry by adopting the approach of self-reliance and self-sufficiency.
On the meeting, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar said that both Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Iraq, have longstanding religious and cultural bonds, which were further manifested through the strong military to military ties between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Iraq.
