Commander Of The Iraqi Navy Held One On One Important Meeting With CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi At NAVAL HQ Islamabad:

Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid held One On One high-profile and important meeting with PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at NAVAL HQ Islamabad on Wednesday, 10th August, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details, Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid visits NAVAL HQ Islamabad and held important meeting with CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi in his office at NAVAL HQ Islamabad.

Upon arrival at the NAVAL HQ Islamabad, Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid was warmly Welcomed, greeted and received by the CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

A smart contingent of PAK NAVY presented the Guard of Honor to the visiting Dignitary. Afterwards, the Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid was introduced to the Principle Staff Officers.

During the meeting, Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid and CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi discussed matters related to “Mutual and Professional Interest”, including the Bilateral collaborations.

Both the dignitaries also discussed the regional maritime security and further ways to further expand the Bilateral Defense and Security Ties between both Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Iraq.

On the occasion, the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted the PAKISTAN NAVY’s initiative of Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) for ensuring Maritime Security and Peace and the region.

Later, the Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid was given a detailed and thorough briefing on PAKISTAN NAVY roles and Operational Capabilities of PAKISTAN NAVY.

The visiting dignitary, Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid, highly appreciated the PAKISTAN NAVY’s efforts and initiatives in support of collaborative maritime security in the region.

It is expected that the recent visit of the Commander of Iraqi Navy Lt General Ahmed Jasim Maarij Abdullah Al Zayid will help to further enhance the bilateral collaboration between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Iraq.
