PAKISTAN NAVY Appoints Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz As New Commander Coast (COMCOAST) With Immediate Effect:
PAKISTAN NAVY appoints Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz as the new Commander Coast (COMCOAST) with immediate effect on Friday, 11th Nov, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY has appointed Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz as the new Commander Coast (COMCOAST) with immediate effect during a prestigious and gracious Change of Command Ceremony held at Karachi.
During the Change of Command Ceremony, the previous Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Javaid Iqbal formally hands over the Command of Commander Coast (COMCOAST) to the newly appointed Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz.
During the Change of Command Ceremony, the newly appointed Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz was presented the Guard of Honor by the Smart Contingent of PAKISTAN NAVY on his arrival at the Change of Guard Ceremony.
Later, the COMCOAST Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz was introduced to the different Commandants / Commanding Officers of Units under his Command as Commander Coast (COMCOAST).
Details of the Newly Appointed Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz:
The newly appointed Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz got commission in the Operations Branch of PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1991.
Throughout his illustrious and distinctive career, the newly appointed COMCOAST Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz has vast experience of holding various Top Level Command and Staff Appointments at various ranks in PAKISTAN NAVY.
The major Command and Staff Appointments of COMCOAST Raja Rab Nawaz include the Fleet Operations Officer to Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK), Commanding Officer of PNS ZULFIQUAR Stealth Warship, Director NAVAL Operational Plans, Director Operational Research, Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Plans), Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Welfare & Housing), Chief Staff Officer to Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) and Commander West.
Furthermore, the newly appointed Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz has also served as the Defense and Naval Advisor of Sacred Country PAKISTAN in the United Kingdom.
Before assuming the charge of Commander Coast (COMCOAST), the newly appointed COMCOAST Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz was previously serving as the Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) at Sacred Country PAKISTAN Metropolitan City, Karachi.
Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz is a graduate of the PAKISTAN NAVY War College Lahore and National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad. Moreover, he also holds a Master’s Degree in Security Studies from the United States.
In recognition of his Services to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly appointed Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz awarded with the Coveted and Prestigious Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).
The Gracious and Prestigious Change of Command Ceremony for the appointment of new COMCOAST was attended by the large numbers of PAKISTAN NAVY Officers, CPO’s, Sailors and PAKISTAN NAVY Civilians.
