PAKISTAN NAVY Conducts Annual Safety Review 2019-20 At Karachi:
PAKISTAN NAVY conducts the Annual Safety Review 2019-20 held at Karachi on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, the safety review held each year with an aim to spread Safety Culture and create Safety Awareness among PAK NAVY Personnel.
The Annual Safety Review 2019-20 will further help to define a roadmap to further enhance the safety culture environment among PAKISTAN NAVY Personnel.
While addressing the participants of the ceremony, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi urged that each and every individual of PAKISTAN NAVY bears the responsibility of not only Safeguarding the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of PAKISTAN, but his life and the state of the art Assets of PAKISTAN NAVY, which can only be achieved by adopting strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety practices.
“NAVAL CHIEF urged that each individual of PAKISTAN NAVY bears the responsibility of safeguarding not only his life, but also the expensive, state of the art assets with which he has been entrusted with, by the Government, through inculcation of robust safety culture,” DGPR NAVY said.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi advised the participants that our concept of Safety must bear fruit in the years to come.
On the occasion, CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi expresses full satisfaction over the adherence of strict safety culture in PAKISTAN NAVY and he further added that adopting the Strict Safety Culture is a basically a process of Self-Accountability.
“The NAVAL CHIEF expressed his satisfaction over adherence to safety culture in PAKISTAN NAVY and said that Safety Review is actually a process of self-accountability which helps to evaluate and gauge the safety standards in the light of previous occurrences,” DGPR NAVY added.
CNS stressed that adherence to safety measures enhance Ops effectiveness and prevent loss of men & material. Adm appreciated Field Commands, officers & men for high standards of work & ensuring safety practices particularly under challenging environment of COVID 19.(2/2)

In the end, CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi gave trophies and awards to the Winners of PAKISTAN NAVY Annual Safety Review 2019-20. The Annual Safety Review 2019-20 ceremony was attended by the large numbers of Sailors, CPOs and Civilians from PAKISTAN NAVY from various Field Commands.
