PAKISTAN NAVY Promotes Commodore Habib Ur Rehman To The Rank Of Rear Admiral With Immediate Effect:
PAKISTAN NAVY has promoted the PAKISTAN NAVY Commodore Habib Ur Rehman to the rank of Rear Admiral with immediate effects on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head, the DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY has promoted Commodore Habib Ur Rehman as the new Rear Admiral of the Service.
“Cdre Habib ur Rehman promoted to rank of Rear Admiral. The Adm got commission in 1990. He is a graduate of PN War College Lhr, NDU Isb & has done various professional courses from abroad. The officer has vast exp of various Command & Staff appointments. He is a recipient of SI(M),” DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said.
Details of Newly Promoted Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman:
The newly promoted Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman got commission in the Marine Engineering Branch of PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1990. He is a graduate of PAKISTAN NAVY War College, Lahore and National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.
Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman has also completed the degree of Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the France and he is also qualified System Engineering & Management Course from the UK.
The newly promoted Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman has got vast experience of Command and Staff Appointments.
The major Command Appointments of Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman, includes General Manager (Technical) Maritime Technologies Complex, Commanding Officer Fleet Maintenance Group, Commandant PNS JAUHAR and Deputy Managing Director (Support & Services).
The major staff appointments, include Director Ship Maintenance & Repairs and Assistant Naval Secretary (Marine Engineering).

Currently, the newly promoted Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman has been serving as the Managing Director Dockyard (Karachi).
In recognition of his Services to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, Rear Admiral Habib Ur Rehman is decorated with the Coveted Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).
