Rear Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi Assumes The Command Of PAKISTAN Fleet During A Prestigious And Graceful Change Of Command Ceremony Held At Karachi:

Rear Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi assumed the Command of PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) during a Prestigious and Graceful Change of Command Ceremony held at Karachi on Monday, Feb 20, 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, the Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi assumed the responsibility of the Command of PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) during a graceful ceremony at Karachi.

PAK NAVY Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami handed over the Command of PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) to the newly appointed Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi.

Details of the newly appointed COMPAK Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi:

The newly appointed Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi is a graduate of PAKISTAN NAVY War College (PNWC), Lahore and National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

The newly appointed Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi enjoyed an illustrious naval career covering vast experience of various Command and Staff appointments.

In recognition of his Services to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly appointed Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi was awarded with the Prestigious and Coveted Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).

The Change of Command Ceremony was attended by the PAKISTAN NAVY Offices, CPOs, Sailors and PAK NAVY Civilians.

It is pertinent to mention that one of the 4 Administrative authorities and 1 of the total 7 Commands of PAKISTAN NAVY, including Commander Karachi (COMKAR), Commander Coast (COMCOAST), Commander Central Punjab (COMCEP), Commander Logistics (COMLOG), Commander Northern Command (COMNOR) and Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST).

The Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) heads destroyer squadron, naval aviation, surface warfare, and other surface operations and anti-submarine warfare designed for multiple roles such as equipments, including watercraft, weapons, arms, and naval bases.

The new Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Rear Admiral Faisal Abbasi has resumed his due responsibilities as the new COMPAK of PAKISTAN NAVY with immediate effect.
