The Sacred Country PAKISTAN is all set to organize the First Edition of PAKISTAN International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023 (PIMEC) at Karachi Expo Centre from 10-12 February, 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
In this regard, the Soft launch of the Premier Edition of PAKISTAN International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023 (PIMEC) was held at Islamabad.
While addressing the participants of the soft launch, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony said that PAKISTAN NAVY, the Custodians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of PAKISTAN, is taking the first and unique initiative of hosting and organizing the Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s First International Maritime & Expo Centre 2023 (PIMEC) at Karachi.
He said that the Sacred Country PAKISTAN offers enormous opportunities for Joint Ventures, trade and Profitable Investments in the domain of the Maritime. He added that Oceans bring the Countries closer and therefore we have to make them a safer place to fulfill the collaborative objects of all stakeholders.
The Chief Guest highlighted that the PAKISTAN has an enormous Maritime Potential that can significantly contribute to the National economy.
He added that the Sacred Country PAKISTAN is a Responsible Nuclear Power and it is committed to play its due role for International, Peace, Stability and order.
Development of efficient ship-breaking industry, trans-shipment ports, fisheries industry, coastal tourism, water sports and aqua culture are few of the areas which deserve special focus.
He dilated on the complete synergy and integration of the Public and Private partnerships between the different maritime industries to achieve optimum result and output.
He added that the potential of the R&D Organizations and the Academic Organizations must be incorporated for enhancing the productivity and efficiency of the maritime sector.
He added that PAKISTAN International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023 will help to bring PAKISTAN closer to other Nations that will significantly help to cherish the goals of shared prosperity through Collaborative efforts.
While addressing the participants, the PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi acknowledged the dynamic participation of guest in the soft launching ceremony of first PAKISTAN International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted that the PAKISTAN International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023 would be one of the Flagship event of PAKISTAN and PAK NAVY is planned to hold this event biennially for the demonstration of latest National and International Technology being introduced in the Maritime Sector.
CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi added that the PIMEC 2023 will serve as the Cornerstone of international gathering of entrepreneurs, R&D specialists, financial experts and top-level policy makers to boost cooperation, share knowledge and support ventures in the maritime field.

The soft launching ceremony of PAKISTAN International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023 was attended by the Ambassadors, Military Officials, Academic Professionals, Industry Entrepreneurs and distinguished guest from different walks of the Society.
