Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Newest Stealth Warship PNS TIPPU SULTAN arrived at the Colombo Port during its maiden voyage from PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA to Sacred Country PAKISTAN on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an Official Statement.
The port call of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Newest Stealth Warship PNS TIPPU SULTAN is part of strong multifaceted bilateral relationship and engagement between Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Sri Lankan Defense establishments.
PNS TIPPU SULTAN is 1 of 4 Type 054 A/P Class Frigates built by Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding, CHINA. It is a multi-mission stealth Warship and equipped with highly sophisticated & state of the art weapons & sensors providing PAKISTAN NAVY combat capabilities to deter all forms of maritime threats Ship was commissioned in PAKISTAN NAVY on 10 May 23 at Shanghai, CHINA.
Upon arrival at the Colombo Port, a Traditional Warm Welcome was extended by the Sri Lankan Navy in honor of the visiting Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Newest Stealth Warship PNS TIPPU SULTAN.
During stay at port, the Commanding Officer of Sacred Country PAKISTAN visiting Stealth Warship PNS TIPPU SULTAN will call on senior naval officials from Sri Lanka Navy. Activities of mutual interest are planned between both navies, incl a Passage Exercise with Sri Lankan Navy on 20th June.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer and Other Officers of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Stealth Warship PNS TIPPU SULTAN will also visit the different strategically important Sri Lankan Navy Installations and Training facilities and will also take part in friendly sports with the friendly Sri Lankan Navy.
The recent visit of the PAK NAVY Stealth Warship PNS TIPPU SULTAN to Friendly Country Sri Lanka will help to further strengthen the Bilateral Security and Defense relationship between the NAVAL, AIR and ARMED FORCES of both the Friendly Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Sri Lanka.
