TURKEY Begins Construction of Top Class MILGEM Naval Warships for PAKISTAN:
PAKISTAN’s Iron Brother TURKEY has started the construction of state of the art MILGEM Class Naval Warship for PAKISTAN. The TURKISH President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and PAKISTAN’s Naval Chief Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi jointly attended the Steel Cutting ceremony of the MILGEM Class Naval Warship that will be sold to PAKISTAN NAVY.
The MILGEM Naval Warship is a state of the art Naval Warship that is named after the TURKISH National Warship program.

The TURKISH President Erdogan also commissioned a new Top Class Naval Warship named as the TCG Kinaliad, which is also an ADA-Class Corvette. The Steel Cutting ceremony took place at the Istanbul Shipyard on Sunday Sep 29, 2019.

Speaking on the Occasion, the TURKISH President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed hope that the construction of the state fop the art and next generation Naval Warship for TURKEY’s Brother PAKISTAN, will help the TURKISH Defense Industry to design and maintain its naval fleet.

The TUKSIH President Recep Tayyip Erdogan further said that it is matter of Pride for TURKEY as the country has ranked amongst the only 10 countries of the world that are capable of designing, constructing and maintaining its own Naval Fleet indigenously.

By referring to the steel cutting ceremony of PAKISTAN’s MILGEM Naval Warship, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the commissioning of MILGEM Class Naval Warship will help to boost the Defense and Operational capabilities of PAKISTANI significantly.

Referring to the commissioning of TURKSIH TCG Kinaliada Naval Warship, TURKISH President said the acquiring of the new state of the art Naval Warship will help to boost the Defense of Brave TURKISH Nation and TURKISH Maritime Frontiers.
“Our navy, rich with glorious victories, is carrying this legacy into the future by further strengthening it.” TURKISH President further added.
The TURKISH President added that the recent events happening in different parts of the world, highlighted the need for TURKEY to strengthen its Defense Capabilities at land, air and sea.
It is important to mention that PAKISTAN is acquiring a total number of 4 MILGEM Class corvettes from TURKEY. According to the contract, 2 of the Corvettes would-be built in TURKEY, while the other 2 MILGEM Class Corvettes would be constructed in PAKISTAN through Transfer of Technology (TOT.
The Contract was signed by the PAKISTAN NAVY back in July 2018 and the construction of the very first MILGEM Class Corvette began on Sunday Sep 23rd 2019.
Notably, the MILGEM Class Corvette is a state of the art 2400 Tons Naval Warship, which is massive 99 meters long and it has a maximum speed up to 29 Nautical Miles.
The best thing about the MILGEM Class Corvette being built by TURKEY for PAKISTAN is that it is powered with anti-submarine combat frigates, which can remain stealthy and it cannot be detected by radars.
Speaking on the occasion, the PAKISTAN NAVAL Chief Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi said that the commissioning project of MILGEM Class Corvettes is yet another example of strong Military to Military brotherhood of PAKISTAN and TURKEY.
Referring to the situation in indian Occupied Kashmir, the TURKISH President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the indian occupied Kashmir is very serious and the entire world must take all the appropriate steps to stop the barbaric acts of india.
