Two Highly Trained US Green Beret Special Forces Soldiers killed in Afghanistan:

United States faces more humiliation in Afghanistan as two highly trained Green Beret Special Forces Commandos were killed during the firefight with the rag tag militia of Afghan Taliban.

The identification of both the slain highly trained Green Berets has been completed, as the casualties of US forces have reached the highest level in five years since US invasion in the war torn country.

Two of the highly trained Green Beret Special forces have been identified as the Master Sgt. Jose J. Gonzalez, aged 35 and Master Sgt. Luis F. DeLeon-Figueroa, aged 31. Both the Special Forces soldiers were assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group and were killed during combat operation in Faryab Province in Afghanistan.

Both of the Special Forces soldiers were killed in the firefight with the Taliban in Afghanistan Far Northwest Faryab Province bordering Turkmenistan.

The recent killing of the highly trained US Special Forces Green Beret Soldiers bring the death toll of US troops in the current year of 2019 up to 14, whereas 85 soldiers have been critically wounded during the same period.

Master Sgt. Jose J. Gonzalez was the resident of California and had served 17 years in the military service and he completed the Special Forces Qualification Course Back in 2014. After the Gonzalez qualified the Special Forces was awarded the Green Beret and he deployed to Afghanistan on two occasions in 2016 and 2019, where he died at the hands of Taliban.

Master Sgt. Jose J. Gonzalez was awarded with several decorations and awards, which include the Combat Action Ribbon, the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal with Valor and two Army commendation medals.

Master Sgt. Luis F. DeLeon-Figueroa was the resident of the Massachusetts and he had served more than 13 years in the Army. Figueroa completed the Special Forces Qualification course and was assigned to the 1st Battalion.

He was decorated with several medals during his short life as the NATO Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with Valod Device, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Two Campaign Star and the Iraq Campaign Medal with One Campaign Star.

He was also deployed as an infantryman back in 2010 and as a Green Beret he was deployed on two occasions in 2018 and 2019, where he died with Taliban in a firefight.

The recent killings of the US Green Beret Special Forces Soldiers clearly indicate that US has totally lost the Security Apparatus in Afghanistan and Taliban are now killing the US Special Forces at their will with the time and place of their choice.

Earlier in July 2019, Another Highly Trained US Green Beret Special Forces Commando Sgt. Maj. James G. “Ryan” Sartor, aged 40 was also killed in the same Afghan Faryab province by small fire arms.

The latest death of US forces came on the same day that the Taliban and US are engaged in a peace talks. The Taliban Negotiation Leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar hold one-on-one meeting with the UN Negotiating envoy Zalmay Khalilzad.

Top Defense Analysts are of the view that the Year of 2019 has been the deadliest for the occupied US forces in Afghanistan.

Previously, the deadliest year for US Forces in Afghanistan was dated back to 2014 in which about 40 US troops killed in firefight and ambush in Afghanistan.
