The main objective of this group is to create free Meghlaya free from the indian mainland. Till date, this group has also killed thousands of indian soldiers in the area and their fight for their just right still continues.

Achik National Volunteer Council (ANVC):
The Achik National Volunteer Council (ANVC) is another separatist group and it want to make the Achik Land in the different areas of the Garo Hills in Meghlaya and it also includes a large chunk of Goalapara and Kamrup.
The Achik National Volunteer Council (ANVC) group has also killed a number of indian soldiers in the area like dogs and almost all the indian security forces personnel fear to go to this area.

The People’s Liberations Front Of Meghalaya (PLF-M) is another liberation movement in india wanted the secession of Meghlaya from the rest of the fragile indian union.
