According to the Details, a High-Level Italian Delegation led by the Italian Ambassador to Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN Her Excellency Marlina Armellin And Chairman Of Leonardo S.p.A Mr. Stefano Pontecorvo held One on One High-Profile and important meeting with the PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
During the meeting, the dignitaries exchanged insights on strengthening bilateral Defense and Security cooperation between both the Friendly Countries Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Italy. The dignitaries also agreed to explore avenues for further expanding industrial collaboration in the Defense sector, particularly in the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), amongst others.
PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar highlighted the significance of the robust Diplomatic & Defense ties between both the friendly nations and reiterated his resolve to further deepen the enduring friendship that binds both Friendly Countries, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Italy together.
PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar emphasized upon bolstering the existing partnership at NASTP across all domains, with a specific focus on the development of Manned and Unmanned Aerial Systems.
PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar also hailed the extraordinary contributions of the global industrial group Leonardo S.p.A. in advancing technological capabilities in the fields of Aerospace, Defense and Security, amongst others.
He reiterated his resolve to further expand the existing collaboration in areas related to emerging advancements and niche technologies in order to accrue maximum economic, technological and scientific dividends for Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
The Italian Ambassador expressed her admiration for the professionalism of PAF personnel and praised the remarkable progress made by PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) through indigenization.
She also pledged to play her role in consolidating the existing industrial collaboration between both Friendly Countries, Italy and Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

Italy Mr. Stefano Pontecorvo highlighted the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on B1B2 certification between both the Friendly countries and acknowledged that the MoU would significantly contribute to propelling the existing Defense and Security partnership between the AIR, ARMED and NAVAL FORCES of both the Friendly Countries, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Italy, to all new heights.
