Nigerian Air Force Pilots Starts User Testing Of JF-17 Block-II Fighter Jet At PAKISTAN Aeronautical Complex Kamra:

The fighter pilots of the Nigerian Air Force have started the user testing of three JF-17 Block-II fighter jet at PAKISTAN Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra.

It is worth mentioned that PAKISTAN’s Brother Nigeria has initially placed an order to purchase 3 numbers of JF-17 Block-II fighter aircraft and the proposed deal was matured in March 2019, Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of PAKISTAN Government has approved the USD 184.3 million sovereign guarantee covering the delivery of 3 numbers of JF-17 Block-II fighter jet to the Brotherly Nigerian Air Force.

A Nigerian Defense Blog has posted the pictures of the JF-17 Aircraft on Twitter and credited Nigerian Air Force Pilots. The first picture shows the Nigerian Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder Block-2 multi-role fighter with serial number 2P 60 with Nigerian Air Force on-board.

The second picture shows the three JF-17 Thunder Block-2 aircraft bearing serial numbers 2P 60, 2P 61 and 2P 62 parked with the PAF JF-17 Thunder fighter jet.

A third picture shows the Nigerian Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder Block-2 with serial number 2P 60 in flight in PAKISTANI airspace.

The delivery of the 3 JF-17 Block-2 Aircraft to Nigerian Air Force is scheduled for November 2020. The delivery of the JF-17 Thunder Block-3 to Nigeria has also confirmed by the Chief of Air Staff of Nigerian Air Force, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar back in March, while addressing the passing out parade in Kaduna.

The bare bone price of JF-17 Thunder Block-2 multi-role aircraft is approximately USD 40 Million. The roughly price tag of Nigerian Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder Block-2 multi-role fighter jet is approximately USD 60 million each with completely armed with the lethal guided, air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles.

The JF-17 Thunder Block-1 and Block-2 is a battle proven aircraft, which PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has successfully used against the indian sponsored and indian government funded terrorist in KPK province. The JF-17 Thunder Block-2 is also capable of air to ground strike through laser-guided and satellite-guided bombs.

PAF has also successfully used its indigenous manufactured JF-17 THUNDER Multi-Role Combat Aircraft in the Feb 27 Surprise Day, which result in the worldwide humiliation of indian air force at the hands of Brave PAF Falcons.

The Nigerian Air Force is expected to use the next generation JF-17 Multi-role combat aircraft in the battle against the foreign funded Boko Haram Terrorists. Reportedly, PAKISTAN’s Brother Country Nigeria is also interested in PAKISTAN AIR FORCE’s Next Generation JF-17 Thunder Block-3 Aircraft.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is expected to induct over 200 numbers of JF-17 Thunder Aircraft with different configurations as Block I, Block II and Block III.

PAKISTAN’s Premier Aircraft Factory PAKISTAN Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra has so far produced 100 JF-17 Thunder Combat Aircraft, which includes 50 numbers of JF-17 Block I and 50 Numbers of JF-17 Block II Combat Aircraft.

PAKISTAN Aeronautical Complex is fully equipped to manufacture and induct up to 25 numbers of JF-17 Thunder Combat Aircraft per year without any logistical or technical support from its Iron Brother and Strategic Ally CHINA.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is also gearing up to start the mass production of its Next Generation JF-17 Thunder Block III Multirole Combat Aircraft during the current year of 2020.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has also inducted 12 numbers of JF-17 Bravo, a twin seat variant of JF-17 Combat Aircraft.

The latest version JF-17 Thunder Block III Aircraft would be equipped with the CHINESE KLJ-7A AESA Radar, Electronic Warfare Suite, amongst other upgradation. The JF-17 Thunder Block III would be 4.5++ Generation Multirole Medium Weight Combat Aircraft that can easily be compared with the US F-16 V Combat Aircraft in performance and agility.
