Ukraine Defense Giant UkrSpecExport Hands Over Upgraded Fleet Of Il-78MP Aerial Refueling Tanker & Military Transport Aircraft To PAKISTAN AIR FORCE:

Ukraine Defense Giant UkrSpecExport has handed over the upgraded fleet of Ilyushin Il-78MP Multipurpose Aerial Refueling Tanker & Military Transport Aircraft to PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

Ukraine Defense Giant UkrSpecExport has confirmed in an official statement that the company has successfully completed all the necessary overhaul and modernization of the Il-78MP Aerial Refueling Tanker and handed over the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

According to the detail, Ukraine Defense Giant UkrSpecExport has successfully upgraded the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE IL-78MP Multipurpose Aircraft with all the ‘Necessary Recommendations’, Upgradations’ and ‘Special Requirements’ of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

‘Specialists of the state enterprise Nikolaev Aircraft Repair Plant (NARP), which is a part of state concern Ukroboronprom, have completed the overhaul and modernization of the refueling aircraft Ilyushin Il-78MP Midas of the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE. Recently, the restored and modernized aircraft was handed over to PAKISTAN AIR FORCE and went to the base (home),” Ukraine Defense Giant UkrSpecExport said in an official statement.

All the modernization and upgradation work of the PAF Il-78MP Aircraft has been successfully carried out by the Ukraine Defense Specialists at the Mykolaiv Aircraft Repair Plant in the Southern Ukraine.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has also confirmed the news regarding the arrival of IL-78MP Aerial Refueling Tanker in Sacred Country PAKISTAN and said that the newly arrived Il-78MP Aircraft would soon be inducted into the fleet of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in the next coming days.

Several pictures shared in the social media confirmed that the after the recent modernization by Ukrainian Defense Giant UkrSpecExport, the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Il-78MP Aerial Refueling Tankers are equipped with the revolutionary Unified Aerial-Refueling Pods (UPAZ) and removable fuel tanks in Cargo area.

Ukraine Defense Giant UkrSpecExport has termed the recent upgradation of Il-78MP Aerial Refueling Tanker Aircraft as the significant milestone and important stage in the Bilateral Defense and Security relationship with PAKISTAN.

While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Director General UkrSpecExport Mr. Artur Maksimov said that “that the successful completion of the contract is a testament to the strong bilateral ties between Ukraine and PAKISTAN in the field of military-technical cooperation.”

It is pertinent to mention that the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, the custodian of Sacred Skies and Airspace of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, inked the multi-million defense contract with Ukrainian Defense Giant UkrSpecExport back in June 2020 for the upgradation, overhauling of Il-78MP Fleet under use by the PAF.

Initially, the agreement for the upgradation and overhauling cover one Il-78MP Aerial Refueling Tanker, however the Defense Contract includes the clause for the expansion of the contract to addition Two Numbers of IL-78MP Aerial Refueling Tanker being used by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is currently using the 4 numbers of Il-78Mp Aerial Refueling Tanker and Military Transport Aircraft to fulfill all his aerial refueling and large scale military transport requirements.

After recent upgradation, the PAF IL-78MP Aerial Refueling Tankers would also be used to fulfill the aerial refueling requirements of PAF JF-17 Thunder Multi-role fighter Jets.
