PAK ARMY CHIEF General Asim Munir vows that PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES and CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) are Brothers in Arms during the graceful commemoration of the 96th Founding Anniversary of CHINES PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY at GHQ Rawalpindi on Wednesday, August 2 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir graced the CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) 96th Founding Anniversary ceremony at GHQ as the Chief Guest.
Her Excellency Ms. Pang Chunxue, Chargé d’Affaires of the embassy of the People’s Republic of CHINA, Major General Wang Zhong, Defense Attaché, CHINESE Embassy officials & Officers from TRI-SERVICES of Sacred Country PAKISTAN attended the CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) 96th Founding Anniversary ceremony at GHQ.
Speaking on the occasion, the CHINESE Chargé d’Affaires thanked PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir for hosting the event for the 96th anniversary of the founding of the CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA).
“This all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between both Iron Brothers, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA & CHINA Iron Brother PAKISTAN, has stood the test of the time and change of international landscapes”, the CHINESE Chargé d’Affaires H.E Ms. Pang Chunxue remarked.
“Both Iron Brothers CHINA & PAKISTAN have just jointly celebrated the 10th anniversary of the launch of CPEC and in the past months, COAS and other military leaders paid successful visits to PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, which has strongly promoted the relationship between the two militaries”, the CHINESE Chargé d’Affaires endorsed.
On the occasion, the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir Felicitates the CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) and highly lauded the distinctive and decisive role of the CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY in CHINA’s Defense, Security and Nation Building.
While highlighting various facets of the deep-rooted ties between the two states, militaries and the people, COAS said that “PAKISTAN-CHINA relationship is unique & robust that has proven its resilience in the face of all challenges.”
“The CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) and PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES are Brothers in Arms & our relationship will continue to contribute towards safeguarding our collective interests”, COAS concluded.
It is highly expected that the recent graceful and prestigious Commemoration of the 96th Founding Anniversary of the CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) at GHQ Rawalpindi will help to further strengthen the existing Bilateral Defense and Security relationships between the ARMED, AIR and NAVAL FORCES of both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA and CHINA Iron Brother PAKISTAN.
