COAS General Bajwa Witnessed Operational Readiness Of Troops In Skardu And Inaugurated Software Technology Park In Gilgit:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid an official visit to Skardu where he witnessed the Combat Readiness and Operational Readiness of Troops deployed along the Line of Control. In the second leg of his visit, COAS General Bajwa inaugurated the state of the art Software Technology Park in Gilgit, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing said in an official statement via social media handle.
According to the details released by the ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa interacted with the Officers and Jawans during the visit to Skardu.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly appreciated and lauded the Combat Readiness, Operational Readiness and Morale of troops deployed along the Line of Control.
Speaking on the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa emphasized to attain highest levels of combat and operational readiness for effectively responding to the emerging Hybrid Asymmetrical 5th Generation Warfare threats.
In the second leg of his visit, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Gilgit and inaugurated the state of the art Software Technology Park. The Software Technology Park is an initiative of the Special Communication Organization (SCO).
The newly inaugurated facility will help to create a cordial environment for research, development and innovation in the fields of Defense Communication and IT by properly utilizing the skills of the brilliant Youth of PAKISTAN.

Earlier on arrival at Skardu, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly welcomed and received by the Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas.
