COAS General Bajwa Witnesses PAKISTAN ARMY Corps Level Exercise Zarb-e-Hadeed In Cholistan Desert:
CHIEF OF AARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnessed the PAKISTAN ARMY Corps Level Exercise Zarb-e-Hadeed being conducted in the Cholistan Desert on Friday, March 5, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official Twitter account.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was visited training area in Cholistan Desert and he was thoroughly briefed about the conduct modalities of 2-week long Corps Level Exercise Zarb-e-Hadeed.
The Zarb-e-Hadeed Exercise aimed at enhancing the combat preparedness and operational readiness of PAKISTAN ARMY formations by creating synergy among Combat Aviation, ARMY AIR Defense and Artillery Units, Infantry, Mechanized Forces, while operating with a defensive operation cycle of a corps.
“The exercise aimed at enhancing the operational preparedness of formations by creating synergy among Infantry, Mechanized Forces, Combat Aviation, Surveillance platforms, ARMY AIR Defense and Artillery while operating within defensive Operation cycle of a Corps,” DG ISPR said.
All the formations, units and troops participating in the Zarb-e-Hadeed Exercise demonstrated great degree of dedication, commitment, professionalism and resolve while conducting the offensive and defensive maneuvers in different phases of the ongoing Corps Level Zarb-e-Hadeed Exercise.
While interacting with the formation and troops of PAKISTAN ARMY, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded and appreciated the complete satisfaction over the highest training standards, combat readiness and operational preparedness of Bahawalpur Corps.
“Appreciating dedication and professionalism of participating troops, COAS expressed complete satisfaction over combat readiness and training standards of Bahawalpur Corps. Excellent training and commitment enhance the operational capability for effective response to all threats and challenges, COAS said,” DG ISPR said.
Later, PAK ARMY CHIEF COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Logistic Installations of Bahawalpur Corps and lauded the highest standards and engineering and maintenance standards.
Earlier, on arrival at the Zarb-e-Hadeed Exercise in Cholistan Desert, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Corps Commander Bahawalpur Lieutenant General Khalid Zia.
