Foreign Minister Of Indonesia Calls On COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:

Foreign Minister of Indonesia H.E Mrs. Mrs. Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi held One on One important meeting with CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Saturday, December 18, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details, Foreign Minister of Indonesia visits GHQ Rawalpindi and meets with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to mutual and professional interest and ways to further enhance the Defense and Security relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Indonesia.

The dignitaries also discussed the current situation in Afghanistan after the humiliating defeat of the US and allied forces in the Country.

Both the dignitaries also discussed the various measures to extend the Humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.

On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that PAKISTAN values the role of Brotherly Country Indonesia in various regional and international affairs.

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that PAKISTAN is looking forward to further enhance and augment the Bilateral Defense and Security relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries.

“COAS said that PAKISTAN values Indonesia’s role in global and regional affairs and we look forward to enhance our bilateral relationship,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Bajwa.

On the occasion, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa highlighted the urgency for swiftly starting the mechanism to provide humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in order to avert the looming crisis in the country.

“COAS stressed upon the urgency for swiftly devising an institutional mechanism for channeling humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in order to avert a looming humanitarian catastrophe,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa underscored the importance of various peace and reconciliation efforts and initiatives in Afghanistan.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also emphasized that a peaceful and just resolution of the disputed Kashmir issue is imperative for the eternal peace and stability in the region.

The visiting dignitary, Foreign Minister of Indonesia Her Excellency, Mrs. Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi pledged for further improvement of diplomatic and defense relations with the Brotherly Sacred Country PAKISTAN at all levels.
