PAK ARMY CHIEF General Asim Munir Held One On One High-Profile And Important Meetings With Top Senior Civil And Military Leadership Of Uzbekistan During Official Visit:

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir held One on One high-profile and important meetings with the Top Senior Civil and Military Leadership of Uzbekistan during official visit on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir held Two-day Long visit to Brotherly ISLAMIC Country Uzbekistan. The visit is aimed at enhancing Military to Military cooperation and Defense collaboration.

During the visit, the PAK ARMY CHIEF General Asim Munir held One on One high-profile and important meetings with the Uzbekistan President His Excellency Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan Defense Minister Bakhodir Kurbanov and Chairman and Secretary of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan General-Lieutenant Abdusalom Azizov.

During the meetings, the PAK ARMY CHIEF General Asim Munir and the Dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to the Mutual and Professional Interest, including the ways to enhance the Military Training Cooperation and Intelligence Sharing between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Uzbekistan.

The CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir highly appreciated the standard of training and readiness of the Uzbekistan Military Forces and their understanding about regional security issues.

On arrival at the Ministry of Defense, the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir  was given a warm welcome and was presented a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent. COAS also laid floral wreath at the Memorial Complex of Martyrs in Tashkent.

It is highly expected that the recent high-profile and important visit of PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir will help to further strengthen the Bilateral Defense and Security relationship between the NAVAL, AIR and ARMED FORCES of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Uzbekistan.
