PAKISTAN Will Not Become Part of Regional Destabilization By Any Means Says DG ISPR:

PAKISTAN is very concerned over the recent regional development after the assassination of Iranian general Qasim by US and PAKISTAN will not become part of any move aimed to further destabilize the regional peace, security and environment, says PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor via the official Twitter Account.

The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor expressing the views on a Private TV Channel on Sunday. The DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor categorically made it clear that “PAKISTAN will not be party to anyone or anything but will be a partner of peace and peace alone.”

“We want peace in the region, but will not compromise on the sovereignty of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.” DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor further said in his statement.

COAS received telephone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Regional situation including possible implications of recent escalation in Middle East was discussed. (1of2).

He said that PAKISTAN previously had played a vital role in maintaining regional peace and PAKISTAN will always advocate all the steps for peace and prosperity of the region.

Referring to the Telephonic conversation of PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa and US Secretary of State Mike over the killing of Iranian commander, the DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that asserted that PAKISTAN will not allow to use its soil to alter the regional security situation by any means and PAKISTAN would play its key role promote and regional peace.

“CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa emphasized the need for maximum restraint and constructive engagement by all concerned to de-escalate the situation in the broader interest of peace and stability. COAS also reiterated the need for maintaining focus on success of Afghan Peace Process.” DG ISPR stated in a statement via official twitter account.

The DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa told mike to take utmost steps end conflicts among different countries that may affect the ongoing Afghan Peace Process.

“PAKISTAN did everything to promote peace and maintain stability in the region.” DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said.

Responding to the rumors that PAKISTAN would PAKISTAN may support US in the war against iran, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said such rumors are totally baseless and false and they were circulating on Social Media by indian media.

DG ISPR clarified that this was not the first call that PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa spoke to mike.

“My request to the people and media would be to only pay attention to statements from an authentic source,” he said, adding that they should not pay attention to “propaganda” and “rumours of enemies of the country“. DG ISPR Further added in his statement.

“india is playing the lead role in spreading these rumours,” DG ISPR referring to the false and baseless propaganda by the indian media over the assassination of Iranian commander.

The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that “We defeated terrorism in our country. The PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES know how to defend this Sacred Country PAKISTAN.”
