KSEW Launches PAKISTAN NAVY’s Highly Advanced Third MILGEM Class Stealth Warship ‘PNS BADR’ In a Prestigious and Graceful Ceremony In Karachi:

PAKISTAN’s Premier State Owned Shipyard Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KSEW) has launched PAKISTAN NAVY’s Highly Advanced Third MILGEM Class Stealth Warship names as ‘PNS BADR’ in a Graceful and Prestigious Ceremony in Karachi on Friday, May 20, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details, the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works had launched the Third Highly Advanced Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY ‘PNS BADR’ in a prestigious ceremony held in Karachi.

TURKISH Defense Minister His Excellency Mr. Hulusi Akar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the Ceremony.

Message from TURKISH President His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan:

In his Welcome Message, the TURKISH President His Excellency, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan extended the felicitation to the Scientists, Engineers and Staff of the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering (KS&EW) on timely completion the PAKISTAN-TURKEY Joint Warship Project despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

The TURKISH President His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highlighted that the MILGEM Class Stealth Warship Project is a manifestation of Historical and Deep Rooted Ties between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries and Iron Brothers, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.

The TURKISH President His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan showed his willingness to further Share the Expertise with PAKISTANI Officials for Further Joint Defense Projects between both the Iron Brothers, TURKEY and PAKISTAN.

Message from TURKISH Defense Minister His Excellency Mr. Hulusi Akar:

In his Welcome Address, the TURKISH President H.E Mr. Hulusi Akar said “Today, we have come to another important stage of the MİLGEM corvette project for the PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES.”

“I am glad to attend the laying ceremony of the MİLGEM corvette PNS Badr, which was held at Karachi Shipyard on October 25, 2020. I’m honored. Now, it’s my pleasure to attend the launch of this ship,” He added.

“The MİLGEM Class Corvettes will be one of the most technologically advanced surface platforms of the PAKISTAN NAVY,” He added. 

“Land-to-ground and surface-to-air missiles, anti-submarine weapons, advanced command and control system, and state-of-the-art weapons and equipment. Equipped with modern sensors, these ships will make a significant contribution to the capabilities of the PAKISTAN NAVY,” TURKISH Defense Minister H.E Mr. Hulusi Akar said.

“I believe that we will continue to increase the number of such projects, which are of critical importance in terms of both the security and technological independence of our Iron Brother Countries, TURKEY and PAKISTAN.” He continued.

“The Sacred Country PAKISTAN is our second home. With the strength we derive from the ties of brotherhood between our countries, we will continue our efforts to move our relations to higher levels. The relationship between TURKEY and PAKISTAN has a unique structure, unlike normal relations between other countries,” TURKISH Defense Minister His Excellency Mr. Hulusi Akar said.

“The history between TURKEY and PAKISTAN is unique, Thanks to deep-rooted friendship and brotherhood, we continue to act in close cooperation in every field,” He added.

We will never forget the support given by our PAKISTANI brothers in our National Struggle. We will always be together in joy as in times of sorrow,” TURKISH Defense Minister Mr. Hulusi Akar continued.

“May your seas be calm and your bow clear” for the Pakistan Navy, Akar concluded his words with the words “TURKEY-PAKISTAN DOSTI ZINDABAD” in Urdu Language, which means “Long live the brotherhood of TURKEY-PAKISTAN,” TURKISH Defense Minister His Excellency Mr. Hulusi Akar concluded.

Message from PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi:

In his remarks, the PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that PAKISTAN’s highly demanding geographical position and the geo strategic environment demands Strong NAVAL FORCE to protect the Sacred Maritime Interests of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that the Sacred Country PAKISTAN has vast Sea Routes and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEX) that needs to be safeguarded from the indian and iranian state sponsored and state funded terrorism.

PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted that the newly launched MILGEM Warship PNS BADR will play a significant and decisive role to serve all the Operational Needs of PAKISTAN NAVY in an efficient manner.

CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) is one of the Premier Defense Entity that has made remarkable growth and expansion during the last decade.

He added that the major expansion and growth of such hi-tech and highly advanced Shipyard will pave way for broadening the technological base in the domain of maritime defense, which is imperative for the future development of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

In his Welcome Address, the Managing Director of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) Rear Admiral Ather Saleem highlighted the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) is a modernized and fully cognizant Shipyard that is taking forward the PAKISTAN NAVY’s aim for pursuing self-sufficiency and self-reliance in the domain of Maritime Defense Sector.

He added that the PAKISTAN NAVY MILGEM Class Stealth Warship is another Testimony of our Unshakable Resolve, Dedication and Commitment to this National Cause.

The Launching Ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Stealth Warship PNS BADR was also attended by the Top Ranking Defense Officials from both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.

Details of PAKISTAN NAVY PNS BADR Stealth Warship:

The newly launched Stealth Warship of PAKISTAN NAVY PNS BADR is a hi-tech and highly advanced Stealth Warship that is fully Armed with the State of the Art Weapons, Munitions, Missiles and Sensors.

PNS BADR Stealth Warship is armed with the state of the art and modern Surface to Air, Surface to Surface and Anti-Submarine Weapons, which would significantly boost the Offensive Capability of PAKISTAN NAVY against its arch rival and enemy number one, india, during the next potential conflict.

The Sacred Country PAKISTAN has inked the contract with its Iron Brother TURKEY for the construction of 4 numbers of Hi-tech and Highly Advanced MILGEM Class Stealth Warships.

Under the contract, Two of the Stealth Warships will be constructed in TURKEY, while the other Two would be completed at the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KS&EW).

The PNS BADR, after its induction, would the highly advanced, most sophisticated and lethal Surface Combatant in the Combatant Fleet of PAKISTAN NAVY.

PNS BADR Stealth Warship is the first Warship in PAKISTAN that has been launched by the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW), while the second Warship is still in its construction phase.

Armament Systems of PAKISTAN NAVY PNS BADR STEALTH WARSHIP:

PAKISTAN NAVY’s New Third MILGEM Class Stealth Warship would be armed with the latest Surface, Sub-Surface and Anti-Air Warfare Weaponry.

Moreover, PNS BADR would also be capable of Electronics, Counter-Electronics and Submarine Warfare Weaponry.
