PAK NAVY Appoints Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami As Vice Chief Of Naval Staff (VCNS) With Immediate Effect:
PAK NAVY has appointed Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami as the Vice Chief Of Naval Staff (VCNS) with immediate effect on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY has issued the Notification regarding the appointment of the Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami as the New Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) with immediate effect.
Details of the Newly Appointed PAK NAVY Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami:
The newly promoted Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami was commissioned in Operations Branch of PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1989. He carried out his initial training from Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth (UK) and won the coveted Sword of Honor for performing best in his course.
He is a graduate of PAKISTAN NAVY War College Lahore, National Defense University Islamabad, Naval Command & General Staff College Philippines and Royal College of Defense Studies UK.
Throughout his illustrious and distinguished career, the Admiral distinguished service career includes wide range of Command and Staff appointments.
His Staff appointments include Fleet Operations Officer & Chief Staff Officer to Commander PAKKISTAN FLEET (COMPAK), Staff Officer Operations at HQ NAVCENT Bahrain, Director Naval Developmental Plans, Director Naval Operations, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operational Plans) and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) at Naval Headquarters Islamabad.
As Flag Officer, the newly promoted Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami has also performed duties as Additional Secretary-III at Ministry of Defense. Presently, Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami is serving as Chief of Staff at Naval Headquarters.
In recognition of his Distinguished and Unmatched Services for his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami has been awarded with the Prestigious and Coveted Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).
The newly promoted Vice Chief of Naval Staff (VCNS) Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami will soon assume his responsibilities as the new Vice Chief of Naval Staff.
