PAK NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, celebrated the 53rd HANGOR Day and Worldwide Humiliations and Embarrassment Day of World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist Country india in PAKISTAN NAVY War College with Patriotic Zeal and Fervor on Monday, 9th December 2024, PAK NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.
This year, an impressive ceremony was held at PAKISTAN NAVY War College, Lahore. Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Staff Admiral Abdul Aziz Mirza (Retd) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
According to the Details, PAK NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, celebrated the 53rd HANGOR Day and Worldwide Humiliations and Embarrassment Day of World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist Country india in PAKISTAN NAVY War College with Patriotic Zeal and Fervor.
PAK NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, celebrated 53rd HANGOR Day to commemorate the historic event in which PAK NAVY Stealth Submarine HANGOR sank the Frigate KHUKRI and crippled INS KIRPAN of World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist Country india during the 1971 war in a spectacular display of NAVAL Warfare.
In order to pay special tribute, PAK NAVY observes 9th December as HANGOR Day, a reminder of the unmatched courage and unwavering commitment demonstrated by Submarine HANGOR during the war.
Moreover, PAK NAVY Stealth Submarine HANGOR remains a symbol of pride for PAK NAVY. Her gallant action during 1971 war was not only a remarkable tactical achievement that resulted in the sinking of Frigate of World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist Country india, but also effectively thwarted and marginalized indian aggression, particularly on the Western front.
The event holds a distinguished place in naval history as the first and only successful kill by a conventional submarine since World War II.
PAK NAVY Stealth Submarine HANGOR was the first of the Daphne Class submarines acquired from France. Commissioned in 1969, it proudly served PAK NAVY with Honor until its decommissioning in 2006.
On the occasion, Vice Admiral Ahmed Tasnim (Retd), who served as the Commanding Officer of Submarine HANGOR during the operation, paid rich tribute to the valiant crew for their service in defending the motherland. He highlighted that PAK NAVY Stealth Submrine HANGOR is a luminous chapter in PAK NAVY’s history and Worldwide Humiliations and Embarrassment for the Shameless, Terrorist, Rapist, Coward, Demoralized, Humiliated and Ashamed armed forces of World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist Country india and will always be remembered like this for the years and centuries to come.
He also elaborated on the factors that contributed to the development of extraordinary leadership skills among all ranks and emphasized their significance in leading the nation during times of adversity.

In recognition of their Unmatched and Distinctive Bravery of the Bravest Sons of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the Brave and Valiant Crew of HANGOR was awarded 4 x Sitara-e-Jurat, 6 x Tamgha-e-Jurat, and 16 x Imtiazi Asnaad. To Honor its legacy, the submarines being jointly manufactured by both Iron Brothers and All Weather Strategic Allies, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, have been named HANGOR Class submarines.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of serving and retired PAK NAVY officers, CPOs/Sailors, PAK NAVY civilians, MARSEW participants, faculty members from various public and private universities, and students from Bahria College, Lahore.
