PAKISTAN NAVY Conducts Joint Drills ARABIAN MONSOON And LION STAR-II With Participation Of Russian And Sri Lankan Naval Warships:
After the successful culmination of the 7th Edition of AMAN-21 Multinational Naval Exercise, PAKISTAN NAVY conducts Joint Drills ARABIAN MONSOON 2021 and LION STAR-II with the participation of Friendly and Brotherly Russian and Sri Lankan Naval Warships in the Arabian Sea, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY is conducting ARABIAN MONSOON 2021 Joint Drills with the participation of Russian Naval Warship ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH and DMITRY ROGACHOV and Sri Lankan Naval Warship GAJABAHU in the North Arabian Sea (NAS).

“Upon culmination of Ex AMAN-21, PN Ships ALAMGIR & ASLAT conducted bilateral Ex ARABIAN MONSOON 2021 with ships of Russian Federation Navy ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH & DMITRIY ROGACHOV in NAS. PNS ZULFIQUAR also conducted bilateral Ex LION STAR-II with Sri Lankan Navy Ship GAJABAHU,” DGPR NAVY said.
PAKISTAN NAVY added that its Fixed Wing and Rotary Aircraft are participating in the ARABIAN MONSOON 2021 Joint Drills with Russian and Sri Lankan Navies.
PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS ZULFIQUAR also conducted Bilateral Naval Exercise LION STAR-II with the participation of Sri Lankan Naval Warship GAJABAHU.

“Fixed & rotary wing aircraft of PN Aviation & PAF Fighters also participated. Exercise included Anti-Surface, Anti-Air Warfare, Maneuvering & Comm serials. Both Ex were conducted to further enhance cooperation & interoperability with the navies of Russian Federation & Sri Lanka,” DGPR NAVY added.
ARABIAN MONSOON 2021 Naval Exercise includes the Surface, Sub-Surface, Anti-Surface and Anti-Air Warfare with robust maneuvering and communication equipment to further enhance the interoperability and cooperation with the Friendly and Brotherly Sri Lankan and Russian Navies.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN NAVY has recently concluded the 7th Edition of AMAN-21 Multinational Naval Exercise with the participation of 45 Countries and Dozens of Observers along with their Naval Assets.
Fixed & rotary wing aircraft of PN Aviation & PAF Fighters also participated. Exercise included Anti-Surface, Anti-Air Warfare, Manoeuvring & Comm serials. Both Ex were conducted to further enhance cooperation & interoperability with navies of Russian Federation & Sri Lanka.(2/2)

For the very first time in a decade, Russia and NATO countries participate in the Joint Drills in the AMAN-21 after the participation in Bold Monarch 2011, which took place off coast in Spain.
PAKISTAN NAVY regularly conducts Bilateral Exercise with Naval Forces of different countries in order to show the firm resolve and commitment of PAKISTAN NAVY to promote a safe and secured maritime environment in the region.
