PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR returned to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN after successfully completing the three months long successfully Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief Mission (HADR) Mission to African Countries on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing, the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR delivers 1000 tons of Rice and other edible items as a Gift from the Brave and Resilient People of PAKISTAN to the Brotherly People of Benin, Sudan, Djibouti and Niger. During the HADR Missions to African Countries, PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR also paid a goodwill visit to Mombasa, Kenya.

PAKISTAN NAVY planned the much needed Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) Mission after the drought and floods caused havoc and massive devastation in Nigeria back in 2020.

During all the port calls, the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR was extended the warm welcome by Senior Naval and Civil Officials of the respective Countries. As a gesture of goodwill, PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR also delivers the edibles to the local authorities of Sudan, Djibouti, Niger and Benin.

The Top Civil and Military Leadership of the respective Brotherly Countries paid special tribute to the PAKISTAN NAVY and PAKISTAN Government for showing this kind gesture of goodwill and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief.

The dignitaries from both sides agreed on further enhancing the Bilateral Defense and Security Cooperation with Each other.

Upon arrival at the Karachi Port, PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) and other High-Ranking Officers from the PAKISTAN NAVY. Moreover, the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) also presented on the occasion.

On the occasion, the PAKISTAN NAVY band was also present on the occasion and present the Sacred NATIONAL ANTHEM OF PAKISTAN and other PAKISTANI Tunes.

PAKISTAN NAVY Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Mission was planned in the PAKISTAN’s ‘Engage Africa Policy’ to open new horizons and domains of Bilateral Cooperation with the Brotherly African Countries. The recent visit of PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR will further help to strengthen the bonds of the Friendship of PAKISTAN with the other Friendly countries.
