PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR Returns To Operational Deployment After Successful Participation In 325th Russian Navy Day Parade:

PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR successfully returns to the Operational Deployment after successful participation in 325th Russian Navy Day Parade held at Saint Petersburg on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head, the Director General Public Relations (DGPR NAVY), PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR successfully returns to the operational deployment after the successful visit of St. Petersburg.

During the stay at Saint Petersburg in Russia, the Mission Commander and the Commanding Officer of the PNS ZULFIQUAR called on the Commander Leningrad Naval Base Captain Saloshin Andrev. They also met with the Deputy Governor External Relations Mr Evgeny D Grigoriev at St Petersburg.

“PAK NAVY Ship ZULFIQUAR returned to operational deployment after successful visit of Saint Petersburg Russia participated in 325th Russian Navy Day Parade. During the ship stay, Mission Cdr & CO called on Cdr Leningrad Naval Base & Deputy Governor External Relations,” DG ISPR said.

During the meetings, the dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest and recent regional security situation.

On the occasion, the dignitaries expressed enormous goodwill and warmth for PAKISTAN NAVY and especially thanked PAKISTAN NAVY for its participation in the 325th Russian Navy Day Parade.

The Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS ZULFIQUAR conveyed well wishes and kind regards to the people of Russia in general and Russian Federation Navy in particular.

The Mission Commander also extended his wholehearted gratitude and support provided by the Russian Federation Navy in making the stay of crew and ship’s comfortable during stay at Saint Petersburg.

“During the meetings, matters of mutual interest were discussed. The dignitaries expressed goodwill & warmth for PN and thanked for its participation in Russian Navy Day Parade. Mission Cdr also conveyed well wishes from CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for people of Russia,” DGPR NAVY added.

Later, the Mission Commander and the Commanding Officer also attended the wreath laying ceremony at the Piskaryevskoe cemetery.

A special press briefing and ceremony were hosted onboard the PNS ZULFIQUAR to acknowledge the Russian Navy Day Parade. The ceremony was attended by the largest number of Russian Government Officials, Russian Federation Navy Officers and the dignitaries of the diplomatic core.

The recent participation of the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR in the 325th Russian Navy Day Parade that will significantly help to further strengthen the bilateral defense and security cooperation between the PAKISTAN NAVY and Russian Federation Navy.

On returns from the passage, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR also conducted the bilateral Exercise ARABIAN MONSOON with Russian Federation Navy Ship ODINSOVO.
