PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Promotes Three Officers To The Rank Of Air Marshals With Immediate Effect:
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has promoted three officers to the rank of Air Marshals with immediate effects on Thursday, September 30, 2021, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has promoted three senior officers of PAF to the rank of Air Marshals. The newly promoted officers includes, Air Marshal Chaudhary Ahsan Rafiq, Air Marshal Ahmad Hassan and Air Marshal Waqas Ahmed.

Air Marshal Waqas Ahmed:
The newly promoted Air Marshal Waqas Ahmed got commissioned in the GD (P) Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in June 1989. Throughout his distinguish career, he has commanded a Flying Wing, a Fighter Squadron and an Operational Air Base.
Moreover, he has also served as the Director General (Projects) at the AIR HQ Islamabad. He is a graduate of National Defense University. He has also served as the Air Attaché in Washington DC, USA.
Currently, he is performing his duty as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations) at AIR HQ Islamabad. In recognition of his services to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, he is decorated with the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

Air Marshal Chaudhary Ahsan Rafique:
Another newly promoted Air Marshal Ahsan Rafiq got commissioned in the GD (P) Branch of the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in June 1989. During his distinguish career, he has commanded an operational air base and an operational flying wing.
He has also performed his duties as the Commander Air Force Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) at AIR HQ Islamabad. He is a graduate of the coveted National Defense University (NDU).
Currently, he is performing his duty as the Project Director JF-17 at the AIR HQ Islamabad. In recognition of his Sacred Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, he is decorated with the Coveted Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

Air Marshal Ahmad Hassan:
The third newly promoted Air Marshal Ahmad Hasan got commissioned in the Engineering Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in June 1989. During his career, he has commanded an Engineering Wing and served as the Assistant Chief Air Staff (Aircraft Engineering) at AIR HQ Islamabad.
He has also served as the Managing Director Aircraft Rebuild Factory, Kamra. He is a graduate of National Defense University (NDU) Islamabad.
