CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF TURKISH LAND FORCES Held One On One Important Meeting With COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:
CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF (CGS) TURKISH LAND FORCES Lieutenant General Veli Tarakci held One on One important meeting with CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Monday, December 27, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF (CGS) TURKISH LAND FORCES His Excellency Lieutenant General Veli Tarakci visits Generals Headquarter and meets with the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to mutual and professional interest with special emphasis on enhancing the bilateral Defense & Security relations between to Iron Brother ISLAMIC Countries.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that We highly value the Brotherly relations with the Iron Brother Country TURKEY, which are deeply rooted in the history and entrenched in our religious and cultural affinities.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa underscored the importance of reconciliation and peace efforts in Afghanistan after the humiliating defeat of US and allied forces.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa stressed upon the need for sincere international efforts in the provision of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in order to avert the looming humanitarian crisis in the country.
“COAS said that we highly value our brotherly relations with TURKEY which are deeply rooted in history and entrenched in our cultural and religious affinities,” DG ISPR Quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, the MILITARY COMMANDERS of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries agreed to further enhance and augment the Military to Military ties between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, especially in the domain of counter-terrorism and training.
“The visiting dignitary acknowledged the professionalism of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES and vowed to enhance cooperation in various fields. He also appreciated PAKISTAN’s role in Afghan situation, special efforts for border management and role in regional stability,” DG ISPR said.
The visiting dignitary, CHIEF OF GENERAL STAFF (CGS) TURKISH LAND FORCES Lieutenant General Veli Tarakci acknowledged the professionalism of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES and vowed to play his role to further enhance the cooperation in a wide range of spheres between the two Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.
The visiting dignitary also appreciated the unbiased and the sincere role of PAKISTAN in managing the stabilizing the Afghan situation, role in regional stability and special efforts for cross border management.
