National Security Is Directly Linked With Economy COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa:

CHIEF OF ARMY Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa hosted the concluding session of Sequels to different Seminars and Discussion on ‘Interplay of Economy and Security’ at the ARMY Auditorium in Rawalpindi, PAKISTAN ARMY’s Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement on Thursday 3rd October, 2019.

The Concluding session was participated by the business Tycoon and Government Economic Team and stake holders from different walk of life.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said, “National security is intimately linked to the economy while prosperity is a function of balance in security needs and economic growth.

The aim of various discussions and seminars was to bring stake holders at one platform to formulate recommendations for a synergistic way forward.”

By addressing the audience, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the internal law and order situation of the country has improved significantly and it has created and increased the economic activity in different parts of the country.

PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF Further said that the coordination and collaboration of the Government’s Economic Team and Businessmen of the country is a good sign for the positive trajectory in the economic domain of the country.

During the Seminar, different businessmen and economists have given different proposals for the Government Economic Team for further create the environment of doing business in the country.

All the Economists, Participants and Businessmen have assured the Government that they will cooperate with the Government in implementing the Government Business Policies and reforms.

They also assured that they will also create an example for others by paying applicable taxes on all the business dealings in the country.
