PAKISTAN ARMY’s Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) conducts a Successful Training Launch the Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile, PAKISTAN MILITARY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The latest Training Launch of PAKISTAN’s Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile comes days after in response to the indian test of submarine launched K-4 Ballistic Missile.

The Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile, named after the renowned 11th Century Afghan King Ghaznavi who is the founder of Ghaznavid Empire and frequently invaded india, has a total massive range up to 290 Kilometers and it is fully capable of carrying both Conventional and Nuclear warhead. The Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile launched from an undisclosed location and hit its designated target with pinpoint accuracy.

The successful Training Launch of Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile by PAKISTAN ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) aimed at “Rehearsing operational preparedness and readiness procedures during both Day and Night Time”.

The Training Launch of Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile was witnessed by Top-Level Senior Military Commanders including, Director General Strategic Plans Division (DG SPD) Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj, Commander PAKISTAN ARMY Strategic Forces Command, Chairman National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Senior Officers from PAKISTAN ARMY’s Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) and PAKISTAN ARMY Strategic Plans Division (SPDF), Scientists and Engineers of the Sensitive Strategic Organizations.
The Director General of the Strategic Plans Division (SPD) Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj witnessed and appreciated the operational preparedness and operational readiness of PAKISTAN ARMY’s Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) for displaying high standards of professionalism and adroitness in designing, handling and operating the sophisticated weapon system.
The Top Military Official of PAKISTAN ARMY DG SPD Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj also expressed deep satisfaction and confidence in the professionalism, proficiency of PAKISTAN ARMY Strategic Forces (ASF) and PAKISTAN ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC).
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and all the PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES Services Chiefs have congratulated the Nation on this memorable and landmark achievement.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN ARMY previously has successfully tested the Night Training Launch of Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile back August 29th, 2020.
Significance of Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile:
The Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile is basically a ‘Scud’ Type Ballistic Missile that could carry conventional and unconventional Warheads up to the range of 290 Kilometers.
The Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile has a total diameter of 0.99 meters, total length of 9.64 meters and it has a displacement weight up to massive 5250 Kilograms (11,588 lbs) in total. The Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic is powered by the single stage solid fuel rocket motor.
