More Blessings for the Brave and Great 220 Million PAKISTANI NATION, as PAKISTAN Iron Brother and All Weather Ally CHINA has speeds up the production process of PAKISTAN NAVY Type 039B AIP Diesel Attack Submarines in the newly raised massive Shipyard in Wuhan.
CHINA has recently upgraded the shipbuilding capacity of its Wuhan Shipyard, where countless CHINESE workers are busy on working with the Serial production of Advanced and Hi-Tech Diesel Type 039B AIP Diesel Attack Submarines.
All the submarines are equipped with the revolutionary Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) that enables the host Navy to undertake complex maritime tasks at longer duration underwater.
CHINA is currently busy in building the Submarines for CHINESE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY NAVY (PLAN) and PAKISTAN NAVY. Furthermore, the Submarines ordered by the Thailand Royal Thai Navy are also being produced in the massive Wuhan Shipyard.
The newly upgraded Wuhan Shipbuilding can not only build all the Western Counterparts, but it can also surpass the Submarine building capacity in future also.
With the building of the advanced and cutting-edge AIP-based Type 039B Attack Submarines, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA is competing with the Western Shipbuilding Giant Countries as Germany and France.
The Wuchang Shipyard is located right in the center of Wuhan, which has now been moved to a much larger site further down the Yangtze River. The newly raised Wuhan Shipyard is 10 times larger than the previous and old shipyard, where the Submarines are building over the stretched 1.5 miles long river bank.
CHINA has started the construction of the newly raised Wuhan Shipyard back in 2012. CHINA has started the construction of Surface Vessels back in 2015 during the process of upgradation and modernization. CHINA has also constructed the large covered halls, where these Attack Submarines are being produced.
CHINA is also building the Type 039B AIP Diesel Attack Submarines for the Royal Thai Navy under the name of S26T Design. The S26T design is basically the export variant of Type 039B Attack Submarines. The Keel laying ceremony of Royal Thai Navy in one of the Construction Hall of Wuhan Shipyard on September 4, 2018.
Project Hangor:
PAKISTAN has sealed the contract with its Iron Brother CHINA for the procurement of 8 numbers of Type 039B AIP Diesel Attack Submarines.
According to the contract, 4 of the Type 039B AIP Attack Submarines would be built in CHINA, while the remaining 4 would be constructed in PAKISTAN at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW), Karachi.
Thomas Shugart, a retired Submarine captain said, “When seen in combination with the ongoing major expansion of CHINA’s nuclear submarine shipyard capacity, an expansion of CHINA’s diesel submarine production capacity as well may point toward a strong effort to try to erode the advantage in undersea warfare that the U.S. and its allies currently enjoy.”
CHINA is building the Type 039B AIP Diesel Attack Submarines for CHINESE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY NAVY (PLAN) to replace the older Submarine Types being service with the PLAN order of battle.
The High-Tech Type 039B AIP Diesel Attack Submarines along with the Nuclear Powered Submarines will significantly help to build the Order of Battle of CHINESE PLAN with more modern and lethal vessels.
