Lt General Azhar Abbas Promoted As the Colonel Commandant Baloch Regiment:
The major reshuffle in PAKISTAN ARMY still continues as the incumbent Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas has been promoted as the New Colonel Commandant of Baloch Regiment, PAKISTAN ARMY’s Media Wing ISPR said in a statement.
The new Colonel Commandant of Baloch Regiment Lieutenant General was promoted by the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa. Upon arrival at the Baloch Regiment Centre, the Chief of ARMY Staff General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa laid a floral wreath and offered Fatiha at the Shuhada’s Monument or Martyr’s Monument.
Later, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF interacted with both the Retired and Serving Officers and Soldiers of the Baloch Regiment in the Baloch Regiment Center.
The Powerful PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa lauded the countless sacrifices, contributions and the performance of the different soldiers and officers of the Baloch Regiment during the peace, war, kinetic operations and internal security operations.
Notably, PAKISTAN ARMY’s Current and the 10th CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa is also commissioned in the 16th Battalion of the Baloch Regiment in 1980.
It is important to mention that the Baloch Regiment is the most important Regiment of the PAKISTAN ARMY and it has produced hundreds of thousands of Capable Officers and Soldiers, who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of protecting and guarding the motherland PAKISTAN from the elements of filthy indian state sponsored terrorists and terrorism in the country.
The post of the the Colonel Commandant of Baloch Regiment is considered as a very important post in all the formations of the PAKISTAN ARMY.
