TURKISH Armed Forces Commander General Yaşar Güler Appreciates PAKISTAN ARMY’s Role In Ensuring Regional Peace and Stability:
The visiting TURKISH Armed Forces Commander General Yaşar Güler meets CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa at General Headquarters, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed the issues related to regional security environment and both the sides agreed to further enhance the bilateral Defense Relations between both the friendly ISLAMIC Countries.
The visiting TURKISH Armed Forces Commander General Yaşar Güler appreciates the role of PAKISTAN ARMY for ensuring the peace and stability in the region.
“General Yasar Guler, Commander Turkish Armed Forces (CGS) met COAS. Regional security environment and steps to further enhance bilateral Defense cooperation were discussed. Visiting dignitary appreciated role of the PAKISTAN ARMY for peace and stability in the region.” ISPR said in a statement.

Earlier, the visiting TURKISH Armed Forces Commander General Yaşar Güler also visit the Naval Headquarters ISLAMABAD and meet the officiating CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF Vice Admiral Muhammad Fayaz Gilani.
TURKEY has also expressed its interest to purchase the PAKISTAN’s indigenous Trainer Aircraft Super Mushak. Moreover, TURKEY has gifted 34 Numbers of T-37 Aircrafts and spares to PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in 2016.
TURKEY is a friendly and Brotherly country of PAKISTAN and assisting the country to modernize and upgrade all its tri-forces as PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTAN NAVY and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE. PAKISTAN NAVY has also signed a contract with TURKEY of over $1.5 Billion for the procurement of 4 MILGEM Class Corvettes from TURKEY.
It is the most high-profile visit of TURKISH Armed Forces Commander to the brotherly country PAKISTAN. The recent visit of the TURKISH Armed Forces Commander General Yaşar Güler will further help to boost defense relations and military collaborations between the two Brotherly and ISLAMIC Countries.
