PAKISTAN NAVY Ships PNS MOAWIN and PNS ASLAT visits Ghana Port as Part of Overseas Deployment To Africa. PAKISTAN NAVY both ships ASLAT and MOAWIN have also previously visited the Mauritania and Morocco ports as part of the ongoing overseas deployment to Africa.

Upon arrival at the Ghanaian Port of Takoradi, the Mission Commander and other official of PAKISTAN NAVY were warmly received and greeted by the top-level officials of Ghana Navy and officials from prominent Ghanaian Authorities.

Later, the Mission Commander of the visiting PAKISTAN NAVY Ships PNS ASLAT and PNS MOAWIN called on the Officials of Ghana Navy and Prominent Authorities.

The Mission Commander and Commanding Officer called on the Ghana Navy Chief, who is himself a Graduate of PAKISTAN Naval Academy. The other senior Ghanaian officials included the Flag Officer, Regional Administrator and Chief of Takoradi Region were also presented on the occasion.

During the meeting, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting ships PNS MOAWIN and PNS ASLAT conveyed sincere and heartfelt regards from PAKISTAN NAVY CHIEF Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi to Ghana Navy and the people of Ghana.

During the meeting, both sides express resolve and commitment to further expand the brotherly relations between the two countries in different domains.

During the visit to Ghana Port of Takoradi, a free medical camp was organized by the team of PAKISTAN NAVY Doctors and Paramedics. The free medical camp was established for the local population of Ghana.

The free medical camp of PAKISTAN NAVY provided free medicines and medical treatments to over 2600 local Ghanaian people.

Furthermore, some of the patients were treated onboard the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS MOAWIN, which is housed with the state of the art medical facilities.

On the occasion, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY also updated the recent ongoing inhumane situation and barbaric acts of coward and filthy indian security forces in the disputed Kashmir Valley.

PAKISTAN NAVY also displayed the documentary on the atrocities being perpetrated by the filthy indian forces against the unarmed and civilized Kashmiri Brethren.

Later, a reception dinner was hosted onboard the PAK NAVY Ship PNS MOAWIN in which large number of the Diplomatic Corps, Large Number of Ghanaian Navy and prominent local community participated in the dinner.

The ongoing expedition of PAKISTAN NAVY Ships to different African Countries is aimed at further strengthening the brotherly and friendly ties with the African countries, extending humanitarian assistance, developing interoperability with the friendly Naval Forces and to enhance the naval collaboration between the Naval Forces of PAKISTAN and other countries.
